A vehicle roof will usually have the vehicle usage marking, followed by preceded by an integer which is the Police National Computer (PNC) Force Identifier. For Greater Manchester Police the number is 06.
The individual (and within each organisation, unique) Vehicle Identifier, commonly alphanumeric, should occupy a second line all by itself.
