Project Mission
This is a project ran by a singular person founded in January 2024 and with the release of some areas for public viewing in February 2024. The aim is to provide base details and information coverage over the variety of public services within the Greater Manchester area of the United Kingdom.
Backstory
As previously mentioned above, this project is ran by a singular person founded in January 2024 and with the release of some areas for public viewing in February 2024. The idea of this project was created after involvement within the RISE Program. After thinking about a project idea, by considering personal interests and usefulness among other factors, the idea of AlertGM was born. Although entering this program late, and failing to pass to the second phase, the project resumed and has since been worked on and re-developed to it's current stature with many things still work in progress.
Why Use AlertGM?
AlertGM is an information-based platform dedicated to enhancing public awareness of emergency services within Greater Manchester. The goal is to bridge the gap between citizens and essential services. We provide reliable information, resources, and updates on a variety of services including police, fire, and ambulance services to ensure community safety.

To our knowledge there is not a service out there such as this, that provides details surrounding all the services like we do at AlertGM.
